With a near perfect jump shot, Barry became the only player in history to lead the NCAA (37.4 1964-65), the ABA (34.0 in 1968-69), and the NBA (35.6 1966-67) in scoring. The 1965-66 NBA Rookie of the year, Barry earned NBA finals MVP honors in 1975, powering Golden State to the NBA championship. Barry was selected to 12 All-Star Games (4 ABA, 8 NBA), highlighted by the 1967 NBA midseason classic when he scored 38 points, grabbed six rebounds, and captured the MVP award.
